Biography
Georgina Lancaster is an analyst intern at ASPI - Washington, DC, with a focus on U.S.-Pacific relations and their impact on regional security.
Georgina is a Master of Arts in Asian Studies student at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where her research centers on U.S. foreign policy and security in the Indo-Pacific. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from the University of Hawaiʻi. Georgina has previously interned at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) and the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM), where she contributed to strategic engagements within Oceania. She is particularly interested in how U.S. engagement shapes the security environment and diplomatic relations with Pacific Island countries.
Georgina is studying Japanese and completed a year at Keio University. She aims to contribute to policy discussions that promote cooperation and stability in the Pacific.
