Biography
Mandy Ross brings extensive global expertise in strategic communication, government relations, and partnerships.
Her career highlights include pioneering online safety initiatives with the UK’s Serious Organised Crime Agency, leading government relations for the Australian eSafety Commissioner, and directing Google-funded media literacy programs to combat mis and disinformation in Australian schools. Mandy has also consulted on counterterrorism strategies, worked to strengthen Australia’s sovereign defence capability, and is a recognised leader in fostering cross-sector collaborations to address complex security challenges.
Her academic credentials include a Master of Security and Strategy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Intelligence, Cyber Security and Counter Terrorism, and a Bachelor of Journalism. Mandy is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is an Alum of the Australian and American Leadership Dialogue (AALD) and the U.S. State Department International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP).
Mandy is passionate about creating safer, more resilient digital environments, especially for young Australians.
