Odette’s professional experience spans a broad range of policing, national security policy and strategic foresight capability development.

She has been recognised for her expertise in international collaboration specifically regarding high tech crime, online child protection and innovation. She established the first national policing Futures Centre where she developed and implemented enduring strategy and governance practices. Her focuses included a suite of strategic planning and capability processes enhancing national security policy development, strategic foresight practices, capability uplift and investment modelling.

Odette holds a Masters in Leadership from Deakin University. Her research focused on command and control environments and building organisational resilience through strategic foresight practices.
