Professor Rikki Kersten is currently Honorary Professor with the Australia-Japan Research Centre at the Australian National University (ANU).

Previously, Professor Kersten was Executive Director of the Asia Research Centre at Murdoch University, Professor of Modern Japanese Political History at ANU and Dean of the ANU college of Asia and the Pacific.

Professor Kersten has written for a range of publications, including in the Handbook of Japanese Security (forthcoming), Asialink Insights and the Australian Financial Review.
