WDSN 10th Anniversary

ASPI Women in Defence and Security Network 10th Anniversary Gala

Speakers Catherine Burn APM, Michelle Chan, Hayley Channer, Stephanie Copus Campbell AM and Jessica Hunter

The Australian Strategic Policy Institute's Women in Defence and Security Network (WDSN) is celebrating its 10-year anniversary and, to mark this significant milestone, you are invited to join us for a special gala dinner at The Marion on Wednesday, October 16.

ASPI is dedicated to promoting the advancement of women's careers in those sectors impacting Australia's national security and global interests. We believe that a diverse community in defence, foreign policy and national security is vital to solving the strategic challenges we face. That’s why, for the past ten years, ASPI’s WDSN has focused on supporting women to build their careers and networks through a range of opportunities, including careers events and workshops, informal networking sessions and our flagship speed mentoring initiative. These efforts are geared towards both developing and retaining a diverse pipeline of talent in the national security community and, 10 years on, the Network continues to grow and evolve.

This event will be a celebration of the WDSN's achievements over the decade and an opportunity to look back on the gains made as well as where work remains to improve the recruitment, retention development and advancement of women in the different fields of national security.

Please join us for an evening of live music, panel discussions, delicious food and networking opportunities to celebrate this special occasion. We look forward to seeing you there!
