Ben Stevens was a research intern at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute during 2022.

Ben’s research is focused on the features and history of Australia’s complex defence procurement relationship with the USA. He recently completed his Modern History PhD and holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Modern History and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Modern History, Politics, and International Relations, from the University of Newcastle.

In addition, Ben also attained a Graduate Certificate in Intelligence from Macquarie University, and his research areas extend to international relations, strategy, policy, defence industry, history and capability.
