Jacky was a researcher with the International Program during 2018 after joining as a Research Intern in 2017.
Her research interests include security in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, German foreign and military policy as well as the role of women in peace and security. Aside from undertaking research and producing reports, she provides support to the editing team of ASPI’s The Strategist blog particularly in regards to the social media management.
Prior to joining ASPI, Jacky was a program assistant at the Warsaw office of The German Marshall Fund of the United States. Originally from Germany, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law at the University of Muenster, and graduated from the University of St Andrews with a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies. Afterwards she lived in Russia and worked at the Moscow German Newspaper, which she still occasionally contributes to. Additionally, she co-edits a current affairs blog, The PACT Online, and contributes to a selection of international political outlets.
