Jamie was a Senior Analyst with ASPI’s Cyber, Technology, and Security centre.
Jamie is a data scientist who has delivered data and analytic insights on topics of national significance. At the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet his work informed health, social, and economic responses during the black summer bushfires and COVID-19 pandemic. Work conducted by his team featured regularly at National Cabinet and other high-level meetings.
Jamie is a former senior medical researcher, Associate Professor, and Department Head. He has worked at the University of Canberra and Monash University. His numerous peer-reviewed scientific contributions can be found in top-tier medical journals. He has sat on the editorial board of several leading scientific journals, national and international research funding bodies, and human research ethics committees. He has supervised many honours and PhD students. He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy, a PhD in Sports Medicine, and a Graduate Diploma in Data Science.
