Biography

Jasmine was a Research Intern at APSI in 2022. During her time at ASPI, Jasmine has conducted research in bioweapon nonproliferation, counterterrorism, and Chinese information security. She has a particular interest in the intersection between the health sciences and human security.

Jasmine has a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) (Hons) from RMIT University. Her tertiary studies research focused on US bioweapon counter-bioterrorism policy, multilateral bioweapon nonproliferation, and Australia’s preparedness and response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before working at ASPI, Jasmine worked as a commercial food microbiologist.
